After a 2 year renovation project, we’ve transformed a dilapidated cottage into a modern getaway for people seeking to enjoy Wellington for a few days. Enjoy the spacious bedroom and a modern, well equipped kitchen, all while being just a short walk from Wellington's vibrant city centre. With off-street parking and a sunny, sheltered location, Porritt Cottage is your ideal base for exploring the best of Wellington.

Centrally located and on bus route 24, stops just outside. Few minutes walk to train station. About 12-18 minutes (9km) drive into CBD or Picton Ferry Interislander terminal (7km). Supermarket about 2km away. The accommodation is a ground floor flat, owner lives in the upstairs dwelling hence please expect general noise from movement upstairs during the day. The flat has been newly and fully renovated with double glazed doors and windows. Light complementary breakfast and toiletries provided.

Suitable for up to 4 people, with a Super King bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living area (note the sofa bed is only available as a bed for those paying for more than 2 guests).

The guesthouse is 10m across the garden from our house. Guests need to be physically able to walk up and down paddle stairs.

Bathed in plenty of sunshine with a north facing outdoor area, this 1930s cottage is the perfect place for relaxing or exploring all that Wellington has to offer. Its only 15 minutes walk to key local attractions including Scorching Bay, Larder Cafe, Weta Cave, the Double Vision brewery. Wellington Airport is ten minutes drive, and the cottage is well served by buses and Mevo car hire.

Fully furnished apartment just off SH1 with easy access to Wellington's city centre, the ferry and Sky stadium. A perfect stop off on the way to a game, a concert or to hop on the ferry. This is a great base for enjoying the Wellington region and the northern suburbs. It is a 8 minute walk to Johnsonville centre with access to #1 bus line and the train. This apartment is on the ground floor of a two-storey house. BBQ available on request.
