Relax by the sea - 2 queen rooms

We live in a quiet cul-de-sac on a peninsula. Your private self-contained space is upstairs with lovely 180 degree sea views and sunshine. Listen to the birds; enjoy some home grown fruit when in season. We can recommend some great local walks (long or short) ; take our kayaks out on the inlet; enjoy the outdoor pool and/or BBQ in summer. Walk to local shops & cafes; take a short drive to some excellent restaurants & Lighthouse movie theatre or go into Wellington by car/train (20 mins).

Modern, light and everything you need in Whitby

A two minute drive to/fromTransmission gully, this gem of a flat has everything you need for a short or long stay. Fully self contained, with a seperate entrance to our family home (which is attached). We have a few Kayaks that can be borrowed if you have roof racks, excellent for paddling round the Pauatahanui Inlet. Whitby shops are a short drive away (there is also a bus route, 236, that goes past our house), Kapiti train line less than 10 mins and the inlet is less than five mins away.

Luxury at the Beach

A modern two story home only 200 meters walk to the beach. Two large living areas are on the entry level along with a generous kitchen equipped with all you need to prepare dinner including a well stocked pantry which you can use. There is a small bathroom on this level. All the bedrooms plus a large bathroom are downstairs - the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom. All bed linen and towels are supplied. Just 15 minutes walk down the beach to the cafe's and bars plus a mini supermarket.

Walk out the door onto the beach - dog friendly

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay right on the beach front. You will hear the waves lapping while enjoying the panoramic views including Kapiti Island and amazing nightly sunsets. This spot is perfect for beach walks and swimming. Complete kitchen. Kids kayaks and a paddle board available for guest use. This is our own family beach house that we are opening up to guests so it naturally comes with the lived in feel and some personal items - not a sterile investment

Lovely large 4 bedroom house - one block back from the beach - excellent amenities - four bedrooms - and outdoor area including outdoor fire (and indoor fire) outside furniture - two living areas - can accommodate 2 to 4 families. Master bedroom with ensuite, guest bedroom (Queen bed) and two more bedrooms with a bunk and queen or double bed in each. BBQ, gas cooking, two living areas large TV, DVDs and even a fooseball table. Our sunny, comfortable, two-storey house is ideal for a couple or a couple with small children. The master bedroom/ living area upstairs is spacious with beautiful views of Kapiti Island. The stairs are a little awkward for the elderly and the very young although we now have carpet tiles on the stairs. There is no handrail. There is no bathroom upstairs. Sitting/ kitchen area downstairs and the bathroom and second bedroom are also downstairs.
