Woodland Cotswold Shepherd's Hut

This three year old hut is very comfy with multiple amenities including: a double futon bed (which is firm, but has a good foam mattress topper) a fold up and down dining table, a radiator, kitchen with mini fridge; plug electric hob; kettle and cookery equipment, a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, books and binoculars for birdwatching on your walks. The hut sits on the edge of our private land, and backs onto a private footpath. Out front is a small stone patio with a fire pit and chairs.

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot located on a working farm on the Oxfordshire/Northamptonshire border with rural views and great walks around the farm. We have horses, cattle, chickens and 450 acres to enjoy. Many fantastic sites nearby including Blenheim Palace, Soho Farmhouse, Warwick Castle, Silverstone, Upton House, Diddly Squat (30 minutes). Wake up to beautiful sunrises, great wildlife and an expansive view. You may even see the 14 wild deer who wander around the farm.

Nestled in a secluded & sheltered spot on our small farm, which is home to a delightful array of animals & wildlife. Our partially re-wilded farm is a haven for diverse nature. Welcome to Honeysuckle, our luxury shepherd's hut with stunning views across the fields in the Chilterns. In the evenings sit and watch the sun go down around your fire pit or stay cosy indoors with your log burner. We are a working farm and you may see the tractor trundle past feeding our herds of Texal sheep (Lambing right in front of you in April 2026!) and Limousin cows grazing in fields, or watch the many birds. You have your own secluded, fenced and private garden area with seating.

Three luxury shepherd's huts are located on the grounds of The Red Lion pub in Northmoor, Oxfordshire. Each hut is equipped with electric heating, a log burner, an en-suite shower room, ultrafast WiFi, a smart TV, perfect for a long weekend away from it all. The Red Lion is a beautiful 17th-century country inn with oak beams and cosy fires set in an acre of countryside, providing excellent home-cooked food, fine wines, beer and cider. Your booking includes a full English breakfast.
