The Old Red Barn

Renovated studio in barn built circa 1830, centrally located to all activities in the Berkshires. Bright and sunny space with views of fields and spectacular sunsets. Open upstairs loft bedroom with pine floors, catherial ceiling, exposed beams, full kitchen , bathroom and washer and dryer. The Berkshires are beautiful in the fall , come stay ! 5 minute drive to town. Walk to the Green River , hike the trails. We provide all basic household supplies. We invite all to enjoy our old red barn.

Barn Stay at Shadowbrook Farm

Welcome to the Shadowbrook Farm Stay. Tucked in the hills of upstate New York, this 1700's Shaker barn has been restored into a beautiful guest house. It sits upon a two hundred acre working pasture raised meat farm. This barn was used to hold, and milk cows for two hundred and fifty years. Guests will have access to portions of the farm lands which are highlighted on the maps provided in the Farm Stay manual. If you follow the farm road, you are able to meet every farm animal on the property!

Once a ski lodge, then a horse barn, the hayloft in this unique stone barn has been converted to a comfortable & peaceful getaway. Enjoy a tranquil farm stay on a working Lavender farm. Help feed (if you wish) the horses and ponies and see the chickens. Enjoy the serene views and take in a sunrise or sunset or the stunning evening stars and moon on the back patio, stroll around the farm and hike our 1 mile nature walk. Private converted first floor barn apartment next to the Green River. Comfortable with unique furnishings and back door that opens to a riverfront covered patio. Sleeps 1-2 comfortably. Can accommodate 4 with the extra sleeper, tri-fold floor mattress, (Best for 1-2 smaller children). Private full bath. Great for 1-2 adults or a family with smaller children. It is on our property with a shared driveway.

This 1920's converted barn has the original beams and antique fixtures w/vintage and new furnishings. The french doors on one complete wall amplify the open space with views of the Catskill Mts., pond, fields, and the vast sky. No smoking no pets. You love them, I love them, but they cannot stay here. Also, two night minimum stay. Three night minimum on holiday weekends.
