Located on a no-through road with only local residents traffic, giving a peaceful setting with views of the surrounding hills. Shaftesbury just over a mile with its historic Gold Hill and a good choice of shops and places to eat. It is a good base for exploring the area, offering historic houses, interesting gardens, walks, the Jurassic Coast, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath and much more.

The harbour at West Bay (setting for ITV’s drama Broadchurch) is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. The bustling historic town of Bridport is only 5 minutes by car or about 25 minutes on foot. There you will find a twice weekly street market, a variety of shops and a good choice of pubs and cafes. Both Bridport Leisure Centre and the Golf Club with driving range are nearby.

The house itself has so much character with a mix of original and modern furniture, high ceilings and a stunning roll top bath.

We offer 1 double bedroom with a doorway leading to your breakfast area which includes a. fridge, kettle + toaster. We supply a cold continental style breakfast daily to the breakfast area leaving you then to decide when you would like to eat. We are in an AONB close to the Jurassic coast and surrounded by stunning countryside perfect for walking holidays.

A vintage, wriggly tin and oak shepherd's hut in a stunning part of Dorset's unspoilt coastline, fitted with every comfort: solid oak floors, sheep's wool insulation, pull-down comfortable double bed, kitchen, dining table/storage benches, wardrobe, wood-burning stove and ensuite bathroom with shower.
