We would love to welcome you to enjoy our lovely, boutique studio with beautiful views over the Ohope Beach and iconic Whale and White Islands. This studio ideally suits a single/couple.( Not suitable for children) Ohope - voted NZs favourite beach - great swimming, lovely walks close by or simply walk down the beach. Close to Whakatane - a great little town with boutique shopping and dining venues. Come and relax or take the opportunity to do charter fishing or trip to Whale Island. ENJOY!

Cute Studio By The Sand Dunes.

Prepare for sand and sun with your stay at this cute little unit. With two bedrooms (one queen, two singles), a bathroom, laundry, kitchenette and a smart TV, this unit is equipped with all the basics to accommodate four guests. A quick walk across the road and over the dunes put you right on the beach. When you're back, rinse off under the outdoor shower, and then cosy up for some Netflix. The space is child friendly, has air-con, WiFi, and is made to feel homely so you can sit back and relax.

We are vegetarian , no cooking of meat please, meat takeaways ok. NO CHILDREN we are not set up safely for little ones

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac and overlooking a grassy reserve & native bush, this self contained studio features a brand new ensuite and kitchenette. Take in the beautiful view of Ohiwa Harbour and the native birdlife from the comfort of your bed or from the private deck. Make use of our kayaks and paddle board on the harbour, relax in the heated pool, or take an easy stroll over to Ohope beach for a swim. We welcome you to our home, which has views of the ocean and farmland. The guest area is located on the ground floor. Only a 10 minute stroll into the township of Whakatane, and five minute drive to Ohope Beach, voted one of the safest surf beaches in NZ. The entrance to the famous Nga Tapuwai O Toi walking track is only 2 minutes from our home. If you are into astronomy, the Whakatane Observatory is steps away from our property, open to the public Tuesday and Friday evenings.

Step out of the studio onto the beach access where you get to see the amazing views down the walkway. (Beach views are not from the studio). Relax and open the french doors to your private patio and grassed area, overlooking the whakatane ranges. Newly built self contained studio with a kitchenette and laundry facilities. Enjoy an outdoor hot and cold shower and a filleting bench for those beach and fishing days. Pet friendly with grass enclosed area.

We are within walking distance to the beautiful Nga Tapuwai o Toi walking track, 5 mins drive to Ohope beach and Whakatane town. Listen to the call of native birds, including Kiwi. Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down. This is a great place to unwind and relax.
