Lots of great walks, and close to bike trail..12km from the beach If you like animals and a bit of outdoor space you will like it here. (there can be insects and spiders)

Mountain View Retreat

There is 1 cabin with bedroom ,1 cabin with kitchenette and couch and 1 cabin with toilet and shower...Private, next to bush and stream with view of the mountain..There is lots of outdoor space to relax in..with outdoor fireplace...the sound of running water..bush... close to rail trail..and bush walks, in the heart of gold mining history. lf you like peace and nature you will be happy here. Grab a bean bag and a book,sit in the bush or on the bush edge and allow nature to nurse you and relax.

Cooks Beach Studio Escape

Freshly renovated studio room, blonded timber, quality modern fit out and restful decor make this room a pleasure to reside in. A north facing aspect located above the Karangahake Gorge just a short walk/drive from the Owharoa Waterfall where the most scenic parts of the Hauraki rail-trail cycle-way can be accessed. The North End Studio is a purpose built studio unit, with a separate entrance along a private boardwalk. Well thought out and with some homely touches it has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The kitchenette is equipped with a 2 burner induction cooktop, microwave, grill press and BBQ, perfect for self catering. The studio has extensive wrap around decking for al fresco dining, surrounded by beautiful native gardens, perfect for that relaxing afternoon drink.

Three room sleepout with kitchenette, and bathroom with a washing machine. Light and breezy with air conditioning. Situated on quiet cul de sac a few minutes drive to the town or to the beautiful Whangamata beach. A short walk past the RSA and Whangamata Club can take you into town to the shops and restaurants Off road parking available and the property is fully fenced and pet friendly. There is a good sized grass area which is a shared area.

Self contained sunny unit with own court yard. 6 minute stroll to beach and town and 2 minutes stroll to the nine hole golf course. Open plan bedroom , kitchenette, dining room and lounge, with a separate bunk room and separate bathroom. All linen supplied. 1 queen bed and 1 set of bunks. Two night minimum stay. Welcome supplies consisting of cereal, milk, bottled water, tea / coffee and hot chocolate and biscuits on arrival.

Our cottage is close to parks, Cooks beach, Hot Water Beach, Cathedral Cove. You’ll love the stunning views over Mercury Bay and its islands from the bed and terrace. The cottage is private surrounded by bush. There is a full kitchen and you are welcome to use the vegetables and fruit from the garden. Cooks Cottage is perfect for a couple.
