Spend a relaxing peaceful stay at our self-contained studio at beautiful Kuaotunu. The studio is separate from the main house and has it's own outdoor patio. Kuaotunu beach is only 2 minutes walk away and even in summer never gets crowded. 10 mins walk to the Kuaotunu village where you will find the famous Luke's Kitchen restaurant, Kua Kawhe Cafe and the well stocked general store. And not forgetting the local ice cream store! Large reserve, Tennis courts and Petanque court are right next door.

Self-contained studio at Driving Creek, on the outskirts of Coromandel Town. Perfect for two people with its comfy queen-sized bed, it also has a sofa bed for two children or another adult. There is a small kitchen area with microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and electric wok. The shower room with toilet is for your exclusive use. The studio has a barbecue, outdoor gas hob and outdoor seating area with views of the orchard, paddocks and Coromandel Ranges.

Each site is convenated by QEII National Trust who describe Mahakirau "outstanding for it's ecology and wildlife value with brown kiwi, kaka, Hochsetetter's and Archey's frogs all present". Located on a beautiful 1 acre property above Kuaotunu Village which is only 3 minutes’ walk from the beach, local pizzeria, cafe and shop.
