Dark Horse provides stylish self-contained villa accommodation near forest and beaches on the stunning Barrington Coast, NSW. Set on our 10 acre farm on the site of an old dairy, we've built a unique one bedroom retreat including some of the original timbers to create an airy open plan space opening onto views of the small valley and paddocks, picking up the sea breezes. We're located just 8kms north of Nabiac on the Mid North Coast, just off the Pacific Highway. Forster is a 10 min drive.

Our property is in the quiet town of Old Bar only 50 meters from the beach,with just a short walk to restaurants and shops. It has great ocean views to chill and relax,maybe watch the whales and dolphins, or for the more adventurous there is great surfing kiteboarding fishing ,walking / running tracks, as well as fantastic mountain biking only 10klm away. Just 15min drive to Taree and 25 min to Foster we have 1 king bed 1 queen 3 singles and a koala queen sofa lounge bed & 2 bathrooms.

‘Wylah Place’ is a one acre property located halfway between Port Macquarie and Taree and is just 5 mins drive off the Pacific Highway (M1). It is a great place for an overnight pit stop or as a base to explore all the Midcoast has to offer. It is very scenic and relaxing, while still being close by to activities and plenty of places to explore.

Our guests can walk or 4WD (yours) over the farm, or simply relax on the wrap-around deck watching the cattle, and weird Guinea Fowl .
