The Old Barn, Buxton - A Dream Come True

It's rare to find a place that's both historic and modern. It has been my dream to renovate the unique and private barn at our Grade 2 family home and finally it has happened! I would love to share it with you. Ours is one of the oldest houses in Buxton dating back to the seventeenth century and was once a coaching stop on the medieval road to London. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Located in the Peak District National Park. 7 miles from Ashbourne and 7 miles from Leek. Alton Towers is a 10 minute drive and the polar bear enclosure at Peak Wildlife centre is a 5 minute drive. A perfect location for those wishing to explore the Peak District National Park. Close to Manifold Valley, Thors Cave, Dovedale, Thorpe cloud, Matlock farm park and the Churnet Valley Railway. There is a pub within walking distance.

Large, characterful cottage in Buxworth

This is a generously sized cottage over 3 floors, sleeping 4 people and set in the countryside of the High Peak, close to some great walks and pubs. A number of walks are accessible directly from the cottage. Hayfield village and Kinder Scout are 5-10 minutes drive away, Mam Tor slightly further. Close to Chinley train station (10 minutes walk) Welcome pack provided, including food basics and wine. Dogs welcome (upto 2) Fully compliant with recent changes to fire regs.
