Located in a sleepy little beach town that time forgot. Where ancient palms shade your path and prehistoric creatures still roam the land. The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach. A modern take on the classic Australian beach shack, the house is designed for the Queensland tropics. There are two pavilions, one for living and the other for sleeping, all with large glass sliding doors that open up to let the environment in.

Daily rate is for a couple using the king bedroom. If you want to use an extra bedroom, it is $30 per person per night. Book at the extra person rate. Backs to a Nature Reserve, in a friendly and quiet neighbourhood. At the end of the close there is a short nature walk with a dedicated walking path to beach/stinger net. Restaurants/pubs/take-aways and mini mart and shop approximately 800m away.
