The Red Shed - cosy woodland cabin with woodburner

This cosy 'Red Shed' is tucked away in a tranquil 22 acre woodland in the Clwydian Hills, hosted by Rob & Claire. ​ Our quirky one-up, one-down self catering cabin is designed to accommodate 2 adults, but could sleep up to 4 if you don't mind being cosy... just ask! It is well equipped & most furnishings, including a beautiful greenwood bed are handmade. We welcome people attending craft courses in Wernog Wood, as well as walkers & other visitors to the area. All guests must be aged over 18yrs.

Soak up the countryside while cosying around the fire pit on your private decking. Can sleep four people more suited to a family with open plan sleeping with fixed double bed and roll out mechanism double sofa bed. All high quality bedding provided. These lodges can be enjoyed no matter what the welsh weather.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Set in a cottage garden on a hillside above the town of Llangollen our lovely blue cabin has panoramic views across town towards Castell Dinas Bran and the Horseshoe Pass. Beautiful Llangollen is great for a break any time of year. Sit with a drink on the decking, or in front of the little log burner, and watch the sunset over the mountains, or the snow sweeping in along the valley. Take a glass of sparkly and have a bath under the stars.

This romantic tree cabin is located on the edge of a tranquil woodland at the bottom of a beautiful privately owned 5 acre garden, overlooking a hypnotic river waterfall. This majestic retreat is where you can unwind, relax and recharge, with full access to the BBQ area and on site sauna. If sitting back is not for you there are several local country walks and attractions. By car Wrexham is just 5 minutes away, Chester 25 minutes and if you fancy a day in Liverpool, it’s only an hour away.

Cabin in Llay, Wrexham

Set on the edge of a private woodland, this cozy and comfortable log cabin is a perfect place for a relaxing get away. There is no wi-fi so an ideal place to switch off and enjoy. It is located on the boarder between Wales and England and is close to many places including Llangollen, Chester, Snowdonia and Liverpool. Parking is available in our large driveway and The Cabin is just a 2 minute walk from there. The Cabin is private and has it's own enclosed garden area with a fire pit.

The Loki Hut The loki hut is a rustic shepherds hut constructed by ourselves here at Graig escapes. Set in the vale of Clwyd in Denbighshire we are located relatively high up so you can enjoy the far reaching views all the way to Snowdonia. The hut is very private and suited to couples and folk who hope to relax and unwind surrounded by nature and animals. The outside bathtub is just stunning at night. We are located just 4 miles from Llandegla forest, 7 miles from Ruthin.

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. With breathtaking views over Castell Dinas Bran and the Panorama in Llangollen, the Nest is a cosy space where you can relax and unwind and soak in the spectacular panoramic vista. On the doorstep for adventure, Llangollen is packed with outdoor activity centres, walking routes, cycle tracks, cafés and restaurants and so much more. We have a fenced area for pets. The Nest is situated on the boundary of a working farm.

Hope Cottage is a superb, newly renovated, self-contained, sandstone cottage with off-road parking, garden and fabulous views across the Sandstone Trail. With a strong french influence this 1-bedroomed property is an ideal getaway for a romantic break and an excellent base to explore Cheshire, North Wales and the beautiful local countryside. Located beneath Bickerton Hill, Hope Cottage is set in a small rural village. The cottage is NOT suitable for children.

Ashmore Log Cabin - with cosy log burner

The Ashmore is a beautiful log cabin settled in the Embank forest. Made from the Ash and Sycamore trees from the surrounding woodland. Log burner to keep you cosy throughout the cooler months. There's lighting but no electricity/please bring battery banks to charge phones. No shower. Chemical loo. Cooking facilities: gas stove and a fire pit/bbq. Tap for fresh water No smoking inside the cabin. Wellies and walking boots advised in winter.

The house is a few minutes walk to the ChainBridge (historic pub/restaurant) over the River Dee Thursday Nights are always a discount price.
