Enjoy a unique experience by staying at our beautiful yak ranch! Located in Auburn, Wyoming (10 miles from Afton) you will enjoy beautiful views of Star Valley in all directions. You will have the whole building to yourselves with ample parking and amenities. Sleeps 6 people; 1 private bedroom with king bed. 2 queen beds are located in the common areas (dormers of the space). Enjoy an evening on the deck watching the horses and yaks and appreciate the beautiful surroundings and amazing sunsets.

This log home is surrounded by a working cattle ranch. The area is peaceful with total privacy. Incredible view of Devils Tower from all areas of the home. Outdoor activities include hiking, snowshoeing, sledding and only five minutes from Devils Tower. Wildlife and livestock can be seen around the property. Warm up by the wood stove on cold days and enjoy dinners on the deck during warm days. All pets must be approved by host before your stay, failure to do so will result in loss of deposit.

At any time there are pack llamas, fiber llamas or alpacas here on the property. The Hideout is less than 1 mile off of Highway 191, and we are on the road to the Big Sandy entrance of the Bridger Teton National Forest, a popular access for backpackers heading to the world renown Cirque of the Towers. Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base. On 6th Street, across from the Ivinson Mansion. This apartment is within walking distance to downtown and the University of Wyoming. It has a queen size bed, full bath and essential kitchen items. Once a house, this building was converted into an 11 unit apartment building in the 1930’s. We have recently updated this unit and continue with renovations as time and weather allows. Please note that the A/C is seasonal.
