Comfort and good sleep. It comes with curtains, a reading light, power adapters, a luggage space and a security locker. *We are a smoke-free hostel. All rooms are non-smoking. *Please be noted that for the comfort of other guests we would like to divide your group into smaller ones when assigning your rooms, as we would like to avoid a large group to occupy more than half of the beds in the dormitory room

Our dormitory rooms are designed with the minutest attention to detail, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as it is memorable. Each bed is equipped with a power outlet and also fitted with a dedicated light. Moreover, we respect the need for personal space even in a shared environment. Each bed in our dormitory rooms comes with privacy curtains.

SARUYA - Twin Room #8 in Modern Traditional Hostel

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.
