Blake's Barn, Mattingley Farm

Blake's Barn is named after the Victorian farmer who built it. The stone barn was sympathetically converted in 1993, maintaining the beautiful original features while bringing it up to modern standards. The mezzanine master bedroom overlooks the open plan living area with the vaulted roof providing a unique airy space. A log burner completes the picture. ‘Smugglers’ quirky hideaway

Smugglers was once an old stable attached to the back of our house. It’s still linked to the house, but is self contained. It’s unusual shapes and fixtures make it very quirky and would suit people that like something a bit different. There is a main double bed and a mezzanine deck ideal for relaxing on. The little kitchen allows you to stay in and cook for yourself if you fancy a cozy night in. The courtyard in front of smugglers can be used for bbq’s if the weather is kind!

The fully restored Sunday School was once an original Methodist Chapel, built in 1828. (no graveyard) It is now a comfortable, tranquil, fully-equipped home right in the centre of town, and just 100 yards from the Harbour and Lymington ferry. The house has easy access to shops and restaurant's but is tucked away in a very peaceful location.
