The Bighorn region is a vacation destination for the discriminating visitor, and this rustic cabin with a huge new deck and a treehouse view on the eastern face of the mountains is filled with charm and located near Sheridan, Wyoming. Owners occupy a separate basement apartment. Single group rental includes shared deck space and laundry access and by request at extra charge additional sleeping space.

The 700 sq ft space features a king bedroom and a pullout bed in the great room, plus a private patio with BBQ. We’re near the interstate, easy access, though some road noise is possible. Just the right amount of rustic, this cabin is also quite secluded with a few neighbors, including deer, elk, foxes, eagles, hawks, magpies, blue birds, finches, gophers, and more! Located with an awe-inspiring view of the mountains and so close to Yellowstone and Chico Hot Springs, and the western town of Livingston. Livingston and Emigrant offer nice dining, breweries, an array of art galleries and other unique shops. Chico's pool is outdoors, wonderfully clean as water is fresh every day.

This log home is surrounded by a working cattle ranch. The area is peaceful with total privacy. Incredible view of Devils Tower from all areas of the home. Outdoor activities include hiking, snowshoeing, sledding and only five minutes from Devils Tower. Wildlife and livestock can be seen around the property. Warm up by the wood stove on cold days and enjoy dinners on the deck during warm days. All pets must be approved by host before your stay, failure to do so will result in loss of deposit.

Activities right outside the door include fly fishing, hiking, hunting, snowshoeing, and X-country skiing.

This ranch-style home has many of the original features from when it was built by our family in the 1973.
