The beautiful cabin is a nature lover's paradise with a babbling brook that offers solace for the body and soul. It is a retreat that will allow you to feel the presence of God as you relax and take deep breaths! This home has a master bedroom with a queen bed, and a second bedroom with a single trundle bed. The kitchen is slightly stocked (pots, dishes, drip coffee maker, small refrig and an antique stove, but no working oven). A gas fireplace adds a cozy feature to the living space.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in the heart of Lebanon County surrounded by rural farmland and Amish community. Enjoy sitting on the front porch or private balcony listening to the birds, or in the winter cozy up to the fireplace with a cup of coffee. This Lodge offers a full kitchen, livingroom, bathroom and a private bedroom on the first floor. The second floor has a private bedroom, loft bedroom, bathroom and a bonus children's room with 2 single beds.

Just a short drive to all amenities in York and Harrisburg but you feel like you're in the woods away from it all. Wildlife is everywhere. We frequently see deer, turkey, and foxes. We are also pet friendly with a fenced in back acre. If you want to visit Gettysburg and Hershey, we are centrally located.

Welcome to our hideaway in the hollow! Peacefully nestled 10 minutes off Route 322 in Millerstown, with easy access to Harrisburg or State college in under an hour. Surrounded by many outdoor activities to choose from including kayaking, hiking at state parks, and only 20 minutes from the Port Royal Speedway. Our cabin is located on a private stoned road. Very quiet and remote location. Keep this in mind when booking. 25 minute drive to downtown Gettysburg, 40 minutes to Carlisle Fairgrounds. Near Michaux State Forest, Pine Grove Furnace State Park and Caledonia State Park; many hiking, ATV and snow mobile trails. For those that enjoy skiing we are 30 minutes to Liberty Mountain in Fairfield and 50 minutes to Roundtop Mountain in Lewisberry.

Gruber Homestead Settler's Cabin

The cabin is the original Settler's Cabin on the Gruber Homestead settled in 1737 by Henrich Gruber. The restoration combines the originality of the cabin with the modern amenities that make this a unique and comfortable getaway experience. Located on a rural property of 28 acres in Berks County, PA. Miniature donkeys and horses graze the pastures and add to the charm of the cabin. No pets allowed.
