Just in earshot of the apple orchard where you can satisfy your taste buds with a crisp fresh apple, apple cider slushy, or fried apple pie. Although rural this home is only 4 miles from interstate 40! Approx an hour from Asheville and Charlotte.

Enjoy your peaceful mountain escape on our 33 acres. We have over a half mile of hatchery supported trout streams to fish (with a stocking point on the property), swimming holes, and private trails located directly on the property. Or with just a 2 minute drive up the road you can be in the South Mountains state park to take some local hikes to some awesome places like the watershed lake. Full workspace with Monitor. 1.5 hours from Charlotte. 45 Minutes to Boone and N. Wilkesboro. 1 hour to Asheville. 10 Minutes from GGL Datacenter. Free charging on our level 2 EV charger. Basement is being remodeled currently. Expect a 4 bed/3 bath house in the next couple of months.

Located across the street from the Historic Block House the cottage was built to house horses and jockeys for the Block House Steeplechase. Completely renovated, it has a bunk bed with 2 full size mattresses, an eat-in kitchen with hot plate, toaster oven and microwave, WIFI and cable TV. Coffee and bottled water are provided. Dog friendly.
