My tour of Berlin is very different than the usual Politically correct BS. Actually, think of this as the Politically incorrect tour of Berlin, so feel free to bring along your favorite rude jokes when joining us. It will be full of bad language and bad taste jokes-while paying respect where it is due. No snowflakes allowed! Our exploration will involve memorials, monuments and graves, along with churches and parks. We will discuss a mix of history, current events, local cuisine, the best spots for a cold German beer by the city center of Berlin. Be prepared to be socially active. This workshop takes place at Carta Alta, an artisanal mask making studio that created many of the masks worn in famous film productions, such as “Gossip Girl”, “Fifty Shades of Black” and “Spider-Man Far From Home”. The experience starts with a brief explanation of the history of masks in Venice, focusing on the most significant models: the “Commedia dell'Arte" masks, the “Bauta” the “Moretta” and the “Dottore della Peste”. After this introduction we pass on to show you the main techniques we use in our craft when decorating the masks, mainly focusing on our signature: the “baroque technique”. We will prepare for you a wide range of paper-mache masks to choose from and our friendly expert team will assist you in the creation of the handmade masterpiece that you will take home with you in the end. There will of course be time to ask all the questions you would like, and we are happy to share our knowledge about this antique venetian craft and the explanations will be adjusted according to the age and the interests of the participants.And remember, if you want you can take pictures with your creation and our famous masks to share with your friends. Everything is located in the center of Zagreb. My partner and I will greet you in front of our building and take you to the rooftop (17th floor). There you can have some refreshments while enjoying the view. The rooftop provides a 360 view of the city and its surroundings. We'll show you around, tell you some useful tips about Zagreb urban nightlife, the city architecture, the music scene and anything else that comes to mind. We'll also hand out the setlist booklets providing text translations. When everybody is comfortable we start the music performance. Think of it as a cosy and informal exclusive concert. This is an experience that works good for people intersted in the Zagreb underground music scene as well as for cultural savvy travellers who want to see Zagreb from a different, more personal perspective. Note that we meet just before sunset (so the concert can take place as the sun goes down), so the exact timing of the event can vary from month to month. If you want to learn something special while having a unique travel experience, come and try river surfing! There are different waves for all skill levels! Meeting at the wave, we'll get into the wetsuit, learn some basic rules within minutes. Right after that, you'll get the chance to spend 45min on the water. Changing afterwards again takes a couple of minutes and if you're keen we finish of by having some tea or beer in my favorite little cafe close-by. Other things to note - you need to know how to swim - not kidding: I had people interested who were not able to swim and still wanted to surf...

Then you will get familiar with all our birds, and the way our breeding station operates to save various endangered species. And finally, you will participate in feeding the birds of prey, including our bald eagle Helen, vulture Omar, a group of Harris hawks and a few others. They will fly just above your heads, and they will land on your arm protected by a special leather glove. This is a hands-on experience, quite literally! We will finish off by showcasing the training of the fastest bird of prey on the planet, our falcon named Gulliver. ❄️ This is a year-round, all-weather event. Even though it takes place mostly in the open air, a heated garden house, as well as several heaters located outside, are always at our guests' disposal. Moreover, our birds do not appreciate the summer temperatures as much as us, humans, and tend to fly a bit better during winter.

In the morning, with me and my husband, we will visit a winery located in an area with a beautiful scenery, where we will learn all the secrets of Prosecco wine making and taste some glasses of this famous sparkling wine! We will then visit a local Osteria lost in the middle of the hills, and will have an aperitivo in front of the vineyards, while listening to the delightful singing of the birds! We will meet my family, while enjoying a typical lunch in our family owned osteria, where traditional dishes are prepared using our grandma's recipes, and where the typical "spiedo" meat cooks slowly near the fire! All desserts are home made by my brother and are really a sweet end of a delicious 4 courses meal! We will visit a second winery, where we will meet friends that run a very high quality DOCG Prosecco winery and produce wines using ancient types of vines and lots of passion! Finally, in summer time only (Apr to Oct), there could be the possibility of enjoying a unique picnic experience in a stunning area in the middle of the vineyards.

I will guide you through the colourful Holešovice Market in the city center, one of the most famous markets in the country, well known for its incredible varieties of products. In this crowded market, we will check the best local product that can be used for our masterclass. Join me and discover how to prepare a typical Czech menu. Learn how to choose fresh ingredients and the way to cook them, select the proper tools and make the magic with your own hands. You will prepare a complete menu of 3 different courses: Classic Czech soup which is called Kulajda, Beef goulash with dumplings, finish with the typical ''povidlové buchty'' as dessert. Dear Guests I’m very much looking forward meeting you! :) About the experience-we’ll meet at the most central location-Erzsébet square in the 5. District, from there we’ll walk approximately 30 minutes to the Ruin Pub district where we are going to visit many bars. Throughout our walk to the bars I’m going to talk about various topics related to Hungary,including an introduction to Budapest, culture, recent history & few fascinating details about the Jewish district as well. Our tour includes a visit of the 3–4 best ruin pubs (depending on the weather/season/day). I’ll explain the history in steps, which led to this state of these ruin buildings. I promise you’ll love these surreal pubs which are nothing like you have ever seen before ;)The bars are all different interpretations & decor of similar aged buildings from the end of the 19th Century. In one of the pubs you will taste a surprise shot which has a very interesting story behind.. :)Throughout the whole experience you are more than welcome to ask me to take your photos as my first profession is Photography. :) Also You may tag the wall in one of the bars. Based on bookings You’ll have a chance to meet with other travelers from all around the world which usually leads to fabulous conversations!
