The spacious deck (with hot tub) overlooks the forest, and it is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The Underwood Tiny House has been created to give each person who walks through its door an experience like none other!

The A-Frame at Finch Creek - Secluded w/ Hot Tub

Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek. A one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural Area. We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

The House on the Hill

This house is located outside Alden. It sits on 35 acres and is 1/4 of a mile from the road. The location is rural, secluded and quiet. There is ample parking for boats and recreational vehicles. The view from the deck is spectacular, you can see out over 10 miles. It's private and has a wide wraparound deck, with a covered area at the front. It's perfect for grilling, relaxing and watching the sky after a day out. The kitchen is open and provides a lot of space for food preparation.

The Twig, near Lake Bellaire

This cottage is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The Twig is a tiny, one-bedroom, 480-square foot cottage on property near Lake Bellaire. Living room/kitchen down, bedroom/bath up. Sofa bed in living room. Very private and an easy 5-minute walk to the lake. The cottage, again, is tiny, and best suited for a single person, a couple, or a couple with children. Two couples might find it awkward. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for $20. There is a two-night minimum stay.

Cheerful Six Mile Lake Log Cabin.

Enjoy the coziness of a bygone era while staying in this 1940s quaint, storybook log cabin. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

Positioned on M-37 Pure Michigan Byway a direct route to the Old Mission Lighthouse State Park which attracts many visitors daily. The daytime hustle and bustle of traffic gives way to the dark night sky and the meditative beauty of northern Michigan. Bring your hiking shoes and enjoy the myriad of foot trails . Minutes from restaurants, wineries and beaches. 15 minutes to downtown Traverse City. Fenced enclosure for your well trained dogs( 2 max, please). No puppies.

This was built new in spring of 2025 and ready for your up north experience. Just 3 miles from Bellaire, 6 miles from Schuss Mountain for golf and skiing. 45 minutes from Traverse City and Petoskey. The perfect launching point for all NW Michigan has to offer.

Sommer's Retreat

Sommer's Retreat is a year round northwoods cabin nestled in the pines and surrounded by a 300 acre nature preserve. Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. The cabin is a spacious two story retreat that will sleep 6 in two bedrooms and a loft. Guests have access to cabin wifi.

Across the street from Torch Lake, this comfortable, spacious chalet in the trees, short walk (across E. Torch Lake Dr.) to public access on beautiful Torch Lake. Close to downtown Bellaire, Short's Brewing, Golf Shanty Creek, Ski Schuss Mountain and Dockside and a short drive to Glacial Hills Nature Conservancy for Biking and Hiking. Great for family summer vacation or cozy ski weekends. Very strong Wifi for folks that want to school and work from "vacation"!

Unit #121 at the base of Schuss Mountain

Unit 121 is located at the top of Schuss Mountain Lodge. It is within walking distance from some of Northern Michigan's best skiing and golfing. Not to mention, it's only 15 minutes away from Short's Brewery in Bellaire. Unit 121 is located on the second floor and there is not an elevator. This is a one room hotel-like unit. You can sleep four — two on a foldout and two on a queen bed — in the same room. Private bathroom. Very close to the ski hills.

Secluded Torch Lake Cabin w/ Game Loft & Fire-pit

Torch Lake is half a mile away — National Geographic's most beautiful lake, and your home base for the week. This 3-bedroom log cabin on 2 wooded acres sleeps 8, with a stone fireplace, game loft, and backyard firepit. Boat, swim, and sandbar all day. Short's Brewing and Shanty Creek golf are 9 minutes out. Traverse City is 35 minutes. Glacial Hills hiking trails are minutes from the door. This is what Northern Michigan is supposed to feel like.
