A cozy cabin over looking the Manistee River on a very safe & peaceful private drive. There are many launch sites for rafting, kayaking and canoeing nearby. The cabin is centrally located between Cadillac, Interlochen, Frankfort & Traverse City. Snowmobile staging area, Caberfae & Crystal Mt. ski areas, Hodenpyle dam backwaters, North Country & Manistee River trails are nearby. This lovely Bungalow on 5 acres is nestled along 1000ft of the Boardman River. We have kayaks, hammock, outside dining/living area with fireplace, and hot tub. The property is surrounded by state land and trails, perfect for hiking, kayaking, side by sides, and snowmobiling. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic condiments. The bathroom has towels, a hair dryer, small toiletries and soaps. WiFi will help you stay connected. Perfect for a honeymoon stay or couples getaway! 25 minutes to TC.

We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Sommer's Retreat is a year round northwoods cabin nestled in the pines and surrounded by a 300 acre nature preserve. Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. The cabin is a spacious two story retreat that will sleep 6 in two bedrooms and a loft. Guests have access to cabin wifi.
