The spacious deck (with hot tub) overlooks the forest, and it is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Our Milk Chocolate suite is a large 1 bedroom apartment located above our gelato shop in Empire, Mi! From it's large breezy balcony, you can sip coffee and plan your Leelanau adventure. The apartment is decorated in a colorful mid-century modern style. The bedrooms and living room both have smart tvs. There's a full kitchen stocked with the essentials and we provide toiletries and beach towels/blanket/chairs. It's a great base camp to explore the area and just a few blocks from Empire beach!

This gorgeous post and beam frame was built from 100-year-old red pine from the Torch Lake area by master log home builders. This home has a beautiful wood fireplace and the floors are hardwood: black locust, cherry, red oak, white oak, and black walnut. The house has radiant heat in the floors to make these floors a pleasure to walk in the winter even without socks!
