Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

Dreamy Storybook Cabin in the Woods

*If it snows, you will need 4WD or AWD.* Jake's Cabin is a rustic private cabin located at Misty Hollow Roan Mountain Retreat. Please read the entire listing for detailed information and instructions for your stay. There is a queen bed in the main bedroom as well as a twin size bed in the semi-private loft. Bear Cabin sleeps 2 adults comfortably with up to 2 children. One on the twin in the loft and one on the futon in the living area. Please bring bedding for the futon if you plan to use.

Spivey Falls Cabin, A Cabin by a Waterfall

A secluded cabin with access to two private, large waterfalls in the Mountains of Tennessee. Nestled on a cliff, the beautiful nature offer precipitous trails to a swimming area beneath a waterfall. Blue Ridge Parkway is still closed but clean up has begun. 4 wheel drive recommended in winter and flexible cancellation.
