Great starting point to reach the remote hills of Freita, where you can enjoy long hikes, river baths or simply visit the geological and archaeological sites of Arouca Geopark. Located in a small rural village in the hills, nearby you can find a grocery store and good restaurant with local gastronomy. Porto city is just 50 min away by car.

The Green Cottage is located 1 min near the quiet rural entrance of the City Park, leading to Foz and Matosinhos beaches and surf schools (20 min walking). Across the street you will find a direct public transport to the city center (30min). The Cottage, rebuild and decorated by us, has a cozy vintage indoor environment, a queen size bed, a full equipped kitchenette and a big wooden balcony surrounded by a pleasant garden. A very relaxing place within the vibrant and urban environment of Porto.

More than an accommodation our guests book an experience in a particularly unique, personal, and authentic way. It’s a 200sqm loft with 2 bedrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs), 2 bathrooms (both downstairs), a spacious terrace and 2 balconies. It's full of light and space for up to 4 people. You can park your car in our private parking space and take the elevator to the rooftop. The spacious terrace is ideal to relax after a long day and enjoy a bottle of wine while overlooking the Downtown skyline!
