The present exhibition of Alexandre Barão photographies – exclusively taken for Marquês de Tancos Residence – create a captivating atmosphere. In the lobbies and interior stairs you can appreciate his brilliant work and also other temporary exhibitions of Portuguese artists. At our residence in Lisbon Historic Centre, we will do everything to ensure you have the most enjoyable stay possible. Alfama is one of the oldest city districts, extending from the banks of the Tejo to the castle. Also, you are 5 minutes from Martim Moniz, inicial stop of the famous 28 Lisbon Tram that follows a two-directional linear route: Martim Moniz – Graca – Portas de Sol – Se Cathedral – Rua Conceição (southern Baixa) – Chiado – Sao Bento – Estrela - Campo Ourique. The Marquês de Tancos Residence is a perfect starting point for anyone who wants to discover Lisbon, and we can also provide Tuk Tuks that can pick you up to take you around the city. Triple it ´s part of “Uppe” a singlular restored Villa, integrated in a very typical neighborhood in the heart of historic Castelo and Alfama neighborhood. It comprises three new confortable apartment fully equipped and decorated. We have rehabilitated entirely our house in 2016. In this extensive and laborious work, we tried to use, as much as possible, natural materials such as stone, wood and cork in a fusion of contemporaneity with the comfort of a rustic house.
