Or just sit and relax around a campfire! The cabin is fully furnished with all bedding, towels, dish cloths etc. and a fully equipped kitchen and gas grill. There are outdoor and indoor games. Our subdivision is ideally situated among thousands of acres of public land near the beautiful Au Sable River. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of nature. Come and enjoy all this beautiful area has to offer, including hunting, fishing, hiking, skiing, trail riding, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, etc. A boat launch for the Au Sable River, an ORV trailhead and DJs Scenic Bar are within a mile of the cabin (in McKinley). Hiking and skiing trails are 10-15 minutes from the cabin.

Welcome to the Huron Lakeview Guest house! This unique cabin features several beds and space for family or friends to gather and enjoy beautiful Lake Huron! Just steps away, guests will have access to a private beach. There is access to an outdoor shower to rinse off and a fireplace on the beach to enjoy s'mores at night. There are wave runner rentals on property available upon request. Whether it is a special celebration or time away, come and see why the sunny side of the lake is the best!

Walking distance of canoe rental, restaurants & the beach, you will surely create great memories here!

Other things to note: Mountain Bar and Grill- approximately 2 miles Rosas Italian Restaurant- approximately 7 minutes Connie's Cafe(locally famous for breakfast)- approximately 10 minutes

Unique Woods Retreat ~ Quiet place in Nature

Our cabin in the woods is a quiet refuge, not a party place. Built with many unique features: log cabin room with vaulted ceiling, log walls in kitchenette/upstairs small dinette seating area and log wall in sunroom. Carriage style Barn doors, from grandparents old chicken coop. The metal stair railing designed & laser cut with pine trees. Downstairs walkout basement has concrete log beams & posts, as well as some concrete tree branches. Trails are for quiet travel only, no motors.

We have 30 acres to walk on, are close to hiking and biking trails, and Beaver Lake is a 5 minute drive. The cabin is nearby to all the greater Thunder Bay/Alpena area. Explore Northern Michigan year round! Of note: the 3/4 bathroom is connected to the cabin, but accessed from outside the cabin.
