The Extra House

We have a comfortable Extra House we call it. Extra cozy extra cute Extra House. The house is right on the Tallulah River in Towns County. There is fishing/swimming hole about 100 ' up river and a waterfall up a trail behind the Big House about a 30 minute hike up and back. Longer if you jump in the falls. Trout fishing out the door and 6 miles of fishing along the main road. We have a 250' zipline into a swiming pond or get off before the water. Lots of hiking trails and waterfalls.

Come and enjoy nature with 100+ acres to roam. Architect James Fox designed this cantilevered cliffside home overlooking a beautiful waterfall. Feel like you are in the trees, in an area much as it was when inhabited by Cherokee Indians. Stream feeds into Lake Hartwell. In the summer months on the weekends and holidays kayaks, jet skis and small boats visit the falls. This property is in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Our Creek House is private and wooded, located within walking distance of college sporting events. Bamboo Forest and creek walk to Cupid Falls are just across the bridge. Over 2000 square feet of living space, including two bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, and large downstairs den with fireplace and bar. Nice restaurants and sports bars are nearby. Lake Chatuge is only a five- minute drive. We live up the hill and are available to guests throughout their stay.

Our Lake house is located on Lake Chatuge in a quite secluded neighborhood in the beautiful North Georgia mountain town of Hiawassee. We are on the lake with an accessible deep water dock. This house offers lots of cozy indoor and outdoor space with plenty of seating, including covered seating areas off of each king room, a large open deck, a lower deck, fire pit, and covered patio next to water. Entire lower level of lakefront home with private cove and dock. The lake is your backyard. Space includes three bedrooms (two with king-size beds and one with two twin beds) a large great room with fireplace, pool table, theater room, dining area, small but well-equipped kitchenette, 12x60 covered patio. Gas grill with side burner. During the summer season, you can rent our pontoon boat for $250 a day. You will need to reserve it in advance to make sure it is available.
