Welcome to our rustic cabin with mountain top views at an elevation of 4,000ft. The cabin is located between Franklin and the Highlands/Cashiers area. There is an abundance of waterfalls/ hiking trails nearby along with the local favorite, gem mining. Unique Waterfall Cabin

This cabin-like home is nestled on a hill beside a 250 foot waterfall. As the water cascades to the bottom it turns into a creek that wraps around the property. The waterfall and can be enjoyed from almost every room. The elevation is at 3800 ft providing perfect temperatures for most of the summer, hence, no air conditioning. There is a fully stocked, renovated kitchen and washer/dryer upstairs. The house is located 15 minutes from Cashiers which has restaurants and groceries.

The Perch

Our charming and private cottage is perfect for your Blue Ridge retreat! This 1950s cabin has been fully updated but retains its quaint midcentury mountain charm. Minutes from the amenities of Cashiers, Highlands, and Lake Glenville, you'll be treated to lake and mountain views, a spacious front porch, a backyard fire pit, a vintage wood-burning stove, and a cozy bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with all the utensils you'll need to prepare meals as well as coffee appliances.

Red Roof at the Tuckaseigee Valley Cabins

This cabin is close to Western Carolina University ( about 4 miles), Cullowhee, Sylva and Cashiers, NC. You’ll love this home because of the views, the coziness, woodburning fireplace, firepit, convenience and unique decorations ( I call it the museum in honor of my grandparents). In addition to two bedrooms, there are bunk beds in the loft for the kids. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

1930s Walnut Grove Farmhouse

Walnut Grove Farmhouse, a renovated 1930s era home, is a remnant of an old farm. We are situated on 17 acres of rolling hills with handsome views from the upper pasture along with a stand of 14 walnut trees. Sit a spell on the porch, listen to the trickling brook (a roaring brook when we get significant rain), the sound of birds, the sounds at night and maybe some turkeys will venture through. We are located midway between Franklin and Dillsboro, Sylva, Cullowhee.

Refresh with a relaxing trip to the NC mountains. This spacious, modern, mountain cabin is the perfect place to spend the weekend away for a couple or a small group. The Burrow is newly built and embodies a light, airy space with rustic and organic touches of live edge and other natural elements.

Lazy Moss Cabin at Lake Glenville and pet friendly

Welcome to Lazy Moss Cabin in Western North Carolina, you can see more if you go to You Tube and search for the name Lazy Moss cabin. Situated among the lush mountain laurel, native rhododendron and moss covered yard at a cool elevation of 3500 feet. We area a pet friendly rental with a limit of 2 pets per visit but NO pet fee because we have found that pet owners are very considerate of our cute cabin so thank you and enjoy your stay.

Our cabin offers a treasured panoramic view of the Tuckaseegee River. It is conveniently located within 10 minutes to Dillsboro, Sylva, and Cullowhee, 30 minutes from Cherokee, Cashiers Highlands, and 40 minutes from Asheville. The living room has 2 comfortable couches and the kitchen includes all modern amenities except a dishwasher. All linens and towels are provided, and there is a washer and dryer.
