This cleverly designed, light and airy, 'upside-down' house affords interesting views in all directions across the landscape of rooftops, chimneys and spires that characterise this ancient sleepy coastal town. Anyone who stays here feels like they have discovered a wonderful secret.

Shuttaford - Modern Rustic Barn in Dartmoor Valley

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Or just relax in the peaceful surroundings of the barn and its garden. In summer months we generally do Friday to Friday bookings. Please message us if you would like to book alternative days.
