The A-Frame at Finch Creek - Secluded w/ Hot Tub

Welcome to the A-frame at Finch Creek, a one-of-a-kind Northern Michigan getaway overlooking Finch Creek and completely surrounded by the Grass River Natural Area. We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

The Bear Cub Aframe

We have a beautiful built 1000 sq ft Aframe! Recently installed a 100 inch theater system in the livingroom! Cabin is in Lakes of the North, which offers a perfect getaway for the outdoorsman. Side by Side trails! We offer 2 kayaks to use (must transport) cornhole boards & bags, trail riding your UTV/ORV, hiking, rafting at Jordan Valley Outfitter, snowmobiling. & many fine dining restaurants, several ski resorts and short day trips! Additionally, a 90 jet hottub for ultimate relaxation!

The House on the Hill

This house is located outside Alden. It sits on 35 acres and is 1/4 of a mile from the road. The location is rural, secluded and quiet. There is ample parking for boats and recreational vehicles. The view from the deck is spectacular, you can see out over 10 miles. It's private and has a wide wraparound deck, with a covered area at the front. It's perfect for grilling, relaxing and watching the sky after a day out. The kitchen is open and provides a lot of space for food preparation.

The Twig, near Lake Bellaire

This cottage is unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. The Twig is a tiny, one-bedroom, 480-square foot cottage on property near Lake Bellaire. Living room/kitchen down, bedroom/bath up. Sofa bed in living room. Very private and an easy 5-minute walk to the lake. The cottage, again, is tiny, and best suited for a single person, a couple, or a couple with children. Two couples might find it awkward. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for $20. There is a two-night minimum stay.

Enjoy the coziness of a bygone era while staying in this 1940s quaint, storybook log cabin. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

Clam Cottage -Sleeps 8 - Close to Torch Lake

This “Up North” cottage on Clam Lake is perfect for a family vacation (sl. 8). Bring your boat and jet skis to enjoy your days on the water. Torch Lake is only a 5 minute boat ride from the cottage. You can enjoy the use of 2 kayaks, 4 tubes and 1 stand up paddle board provided free for guests. Summer meals on the deck are the best! The raft in front of the cottage will be a favorite amenity. 1 window AC and portable fans in every room. You will want to return every year!

Tiny Home Industrial/Brewery Themed w/ Hot Tub

Custom crafted tiny home! It’s a industrial/rustic style home and equipped with everything you’ll need for a great stay including your own private hot tub! Please make note of the spiral staircase as it is steep. It’s located in a private corner of our property with its own drive so you will feel completely on your own. It’s located about 7 miles from Bellaire and Shorts brewery as well as torch lake. It’s about 45 minutes from traverse city, Charlevoix and Petoskey.

Nestled in the beautiful Jordan River Valley, this cozy cabin is a writer's dream. Located seven miles from Mancelona, this woodsy retreat provides easy access to hiking, fishing, canoeing, and skiing. Shorts Brewery, and their famous craft beer, is a fifteen minute drive to downtown Bellaire. Traverse City and Petoskey are just forty-five minutes away. Wander the gardens that are part of the small turn-of-the-century farm, or just enjoy the quiet of the north woods.

Sommer's Retreat is a year round northwoods cabin nestled in the pines and surrounded by a 300 acre nature preserve. Our location is a short distance from the Jordan River Valley and within 20 minutes of the south arm of Lake Charlevoix, Torch Lake, Lake Michigan, Shanty Creek Schuss Mountain Resorts, Glacial Hills, orchards and farm markets. The cabin is a spacious two story retreat that will sleep 6 in two bedrooms and a loft. Guests have access to cabin wifi.
