Handicap accessible. Within a short drive of 2 major ski resorts, the Flight 93 Memorial and 2 wineries. Several restaurants and a brewery also within a 15 minute drive. The property includes an outside firepit that is a favorite place for guests to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains.

Tiny House - Big Farm Adventure near Pittsburgh

Enjoy an Adventure in "Glamping" at Highland House on Pittsburgher Highland Farm. This custom built Tiny House is situated on over 100 acres of rolling farmland, hills and forests, with Scottish Highland cattle, chickens, sheep & lambs, pigs, fish in the pond, and 2 beehives. You have use of the entire farm during your stay. Located about 45 minutes south-east of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania's beautiful Laurel Highlands, there is lots to see and do both on site and nearby. Newly added washer dryer and beautiful new second floor bathroom complete with hillside view from shower window. Rolling hills and wildlife surround this built-into the hillside cabin.

Welty Place

Welty Place is a relaxing getaway nestled in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, yet conveniently located right along Route 982. It is just minutes from Arnold Palmer Airport and the city of Latrobe, as well as Westmoreland Fairgrounds. Pittsburgh is within an hours drive. Ohiopyle, Falling Water, and Seven Springs (20 miles away), are other nearby attractions. We welcome long term stays, including guests looking to work remotely. It truly has a “home away from home” feel.

A labor of love, we built this home with hopes of someday retiring here to enjoy all the area has to offer. In the heart of the Laurel Highlands this home is close to golf courses, ski resorts, museums, theaters, restaurants, numerous State Parks with great hiking and biking, Idlewild and Soakzone, and Ligonier Camp and Conference Center.

This space sports it’s own kitchenette and a private bath, perfect for the traveling business person or couples visiting the area while working remote and touring the country. It’s within walking distance to the Latrobe downtown business district, Amtrak Train Station, and Greyhound Bus stop. Perfect for traveling nurses with Excela Health Latrobe Hospital a ten minute walk away.

Glamping Pod

Escape to nature in a cozy glamping pod, offering the ideal mix of comfort and adventure in a peaceful setting. Each pod features a queen-size bed, a mini kitchenette with a coffee maker and microwave, and a dining table for two. Pods are equipped with heating and cooling, electricity, and WiFi. Though there's no bathroom inside, our luxury bathhouse with private stalls is just a short walk away and visible from your pod.

We're located in the heart of the Laurel Highlands close to golf courses, ski resorts, museums, theaters, restaurants, Idlewild Amusment Park and numerous State Parks with great hiking and biking trails. Enjoy fishing steps from the back deck as this home sits along Four Mile Run creek.

Enjoy your stay in Ligonier, Pennsylvania at this cozy, freshly furnished 2-bedroom 1 bath retreat. Bring your family or a few friends for some much need rest and relaxation. Our house comfortably fits 4 adults, with a cot available for a 5th person. Take advantage of our private hot tub and fire pit while living like the locals.
