Nearby historic LaHave ferry for a 20 minute drive to Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 15 minutes to Nova Scotia’s best white sand beaches, Risser’s, Crescent, & Green Bay.

The Shore Shack

Shore Shack is a newly construction timber frame cabin on the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful views and direct oceanfront. A Sandy beach within walking distance (at the end of Sand Beach road). The town of Liverpool is a five minute drive away. Very private! Whitepoint, Carter's and Summerville beach all a short drive away. A four person hot tub was added in March 2022. Welcome to Knotty Pine Cottage - the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. This 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage has everything you need for your year-round getaway. Located in beautiful Chalet Hamlet, a private quiet cottage community that offers a relaxing retreat from the busy pace of everyday life. Beautiful Armstrong Lake is across the road, as is the community swimming area and boat launch. Knotty Pine Cottage is located 10 minutes from Martock/OnTree, and 20 minutes from Windsor.

This summer home is located at the head of Herring Cove; there is 48m of waterfront. Have fun exploring, roaming the rocks or kayaking the Cove of this private shore. We have a kayak for your pleasure. Enjoy the spectacular view from the hot tub or the spacious deck. Herring Cove has much to offer with its hiking, sight seeing, simply sitting at the dock, or visiting our popular Pavia Cafe. It is a 15 minute drive to Downtown. This is a great spot for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.

Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

Several beaches are located within minutes of Palmer Cottage, including Queensland Beach, Cleveland Beach and our very own Cowlow Cove beach - only a minute's walk from the cottage! Burns Cove cottage is a spacious, fully equipped vacation home. The waterfront location makes it a prime spot to relax, view nature. It’s also a great location to bike/ hike/drive the Lighthouse Route and Rails to Trails. Lunenburg, Mahone Bay, Chester and Bridgewater have some amazing local eateries, craft breweries, local wineries and lots of shops. A quick drive to the free ferry ride gets you to the LaHave bakery, crafts, pottery, art galleries and many beaches.
