Nearby recreation activities include hiking, fishing, kayaking, boating, off-roading and winter snowmobiling and ice fishing. Stairs down to the river. You can fish right off the banks. 1 hour and 15 minutes from Grand Rapids, 40 minutes to Ludington.

Close to Big Star Lake, beach access, and the public boat launch. Near multiple access points to the Pere Marquette River. In the winter warm up around the wood stove after snowmobiling. In the summer cool off in the AC after visiting the beach. Relax around the fire pit and enjoy the 6 burner gas grill.

The local residents are deer, bear & squirrels. No WiFi(yet), but we have two TVs with local channels. Fire Pit and outside grill.

Over a mile of well maintained, hiker only, trail winds through the woods. Hosting only adults, this property was designed for romantic getaways. This peaceful setting is only a 20-minute drive to downtown Ludington & Lake Michigan, where you can find a nice meal, hit the beach or catch the S.S. Badger!
