There is a market in the square on Fridays and Sundays with neat jewelry, art and other local treasures. The area is rich in history and culture and has many tales of days when Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett used to wonder the village.

"Casa de Maíz" is a quaint home close to New Mexico State University, the Las Cruces Convention Center, and has access to downtown and Historic Mesilla.
