Mijas is usually a quiet town at night but has many good restaurants and can be busy on summer evenings and day time with tourists. The town is a fifteen minute drive from Fuengirola, a busy coastal city with your closest beaches and more bars and discotheques. Marbella, and Malaga city are at 40 min drive more or less and other towns like Ronda about one hour drive.
