Spend the day exploring Nova Scotia then head to your private retreat and relax in your beautiful hot tub. Top the evening off with around a bonfire where the only sounds you'll hear is the water splashing up on the rocks and the crackling of the fire. The giant deck features a dining area and a Napoleon BBQ.

2026 Calendar opens late November. Beachfront cottage with unobstructed views of the Strait. 2 minute walk to sandy beach - tidal pools & seals at low tide. Camp fires, kayaks, propane BBQ, and an expansive, fully furnished patio for your morning Nespresso coffee, sun bathing or a la carte dining. Each bedroom has a queen bed with quality linens. Reid's Cove Retreat has been crafted as a modern couple's retreat, nestled in beautiful Tatamagouche NS. Take in the special details of this romantic space, including hot tub, massive front windows with an amazing view, and paddle boards to enjoy the water access. Explore the village of Tatamagouche and near by attractions including Fox Harb'r, Brule Point and Northumberland Links Golf courses, Jost Vineyards, Tatamagouche Brewing and Ski Wentworth along with tons of hiking trails.

Private Hot Tub River Retreat

The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.

Lovely rustic waterfront family cottage, 3 bedrooms, full bath and kitchen. Our lot is right on the Northumberland Strait (Warmest waters north of Carolina's), has stunning panoramic ocean views with bank access to the beautiful beach below. A great beach to swim and explore. Features a large wrap around patio with BBQ, furniture and a large grassy lawn. It is a great place to stay if you enjoy kayaking, fishing or boating as there is a boat launch just minutes away.

This spacious beach house is located right beside the water with beach access. It is the perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the sunshine! We are located right beside the gorgeous Northumberland Provincial Park. During your stay take advantage of our outdoor screen room for socializing and relaxing, fire pit for all your marshmallow roasting needs, outdoor yard games to keep the kids entertained and the breath taking beach a few steps from the front door!

Come and enjoy a little piece of heaven in this fully equipped River front cottage. Situated on picturesque River John with one of the best sunsets in Nova Scotia on your deck. Beautifully decorated 2 bedroom cottage, complete with heat pump, dishwasher, washer & dryer (free), and BBQ. Enjoy a river side deck as well as a floating dock (May to November) in the river channel (deep enough for most boats and perfect for kayaking or canoeing or swimming).
