Our cozy cabin is nestled amongst green, leafy trees at the end of a lagoon of the great Lake Douglas but Sevierville with all it’s tourist attractions is only 10 minutes down the road. Dollywood Pigeon Forge 25 minutes and Gatlinburg ski resort 40 minutes drive. The area offers plenty of fun to make your visit an unforgettable one. And when you’re done running around you can relax by the lake (when the water is high in the summer months) or enjoy a romantic evening by the indoor fire place.

The Water Wheel is our place to unplug and detox from the hustle and bustle of life. When we are not here enjoying this space we want to share it with you. Imagine yourself lounging by our fire pit with a local brew or taking in the mountain views from the hot tub then creating an amazing meal. Detox in our cedar sauna after a long hike. Or if you are exploring the area then it is the perfect home base for adventures in the mountains or to Asheville for breweries, dining or shopping.

Quail Roost 1 is located in scenic Cosby, TN. and is a one side of a duplex (and completely private!) This is a truly unique spot not found anywhere else in the Smokies. Day trips to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Gatlinburg, & even Asheville are available! The romantic deck is one of a kind complete with an outdoor soaking tub & pellet stove!

Children are welcome, but please be mindful of loud voices. @theWaterAndRest is geared towards the creative and the adventurous: for a soul resetting type of escape. Those needing a getaway that’s convenient and unlike any other place around. A nice, roaring stream runs feet away.
