The Casita at Prado Verde Ranch

The Casita at Prado Verde Ranch has a rustic feel and will take you back in time. The ranch, located along the Chama River, is a 200-acre working ranch in Abiquiu NM. The main ranch house, well over 100 years old, is home to the Newell family and Newell Cattle. It is winter pasture and spring calving grounds for the cattle. The home site was originally settled by Bartolome Trujillo in the 1734. Pottery shards found in the pastures indicate that this site was a Native American settlement.

El Studio is a 300+ square foot studio in an exquisitely converted adobe outbuilding. It shares a scenic 10-acre property with the main house (Casa Tocaya) and the guest house (La Biblioteca). Surrounded by a stone wall for privacy, it's close enough to the main house to serve as an extra bedroom and far enough away across the driveway that no one feels crowded. **Now with a brand new Mini-split AC & Heater installed!**

Our lovely, private casita in central Albuquerque is decorated with original art and located within easy walking distance of the University of New Mexico north campus golf course and UNM Hospital/School of Law. The kitchenette has granite counter tops and custom LED lighting. We have a private landscaped garden with sitting areas to enjoy hummingbirds and roadrunners. Wi-Fi and cable TV incl.
