Spend the day kayaking, walking or cycling in the mountains, enjoying the largest spa in Portugal (20 mins), & exploring historic villages and cities, then come home to relax in a hammock in the orchard, soak up views from the bath, or chillout to vintage vinyl. We live on site, but the apartment is totally private, being the whole upper floor & with own entrance.

Cozy Nook is a Beautiful hundred years old house which was recently fully renovated. It has some fine points from Marroco, India & Western Europe... You can watch Netflix in a cozy sofa, have a romantic night with switched Fireplace or work using our high speed Internet. The central location of the house, gives you possibility to get to the cafes, shops, restaurants and administrative buildings with a 1 min walk. The house is ideal for 2-3 adults or 2 ad.+2 kids who could sleep in sofa bed.

A Raton's House é um espaço de acolhimento e tranquilidade no término sul de Aldeia de João Pires, na rota das Aldeias Históricas de Portugal. Com um olival de 5.000 m2 à volta, murado, é a síntese de aldeia e campo. Ali podem brincar crianças sem o risco de correr para a estrada. A casa tem dois quartos, duas casas de banho, duas salas e fora um telheiro revestido a hera. Tem 3 aparelhos de ar condicionado e acomoda até 4 pessoas. A Aldeia tem um restaurante e um parque infantil.

We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Towels & linens provided. Discounts for weekly bookings.

Casa Mont'Santo with Balcony & Terrace

Casa Mont'Santo is a rustic and secular house, with Jewish features and located in the most Portuguese village in Portugal. From the house, we highlight a panoramic balcony and a fantastic terrace with barbecue, from which we enjoy a stunning view of the village and the immensity of the landscape. These two spaces lead us to contemplation and peace, close to nature. The chirping of birds and the rest of the flora, compel us to forget the routine and bring us to other times!

A casa está inserida numa quinta vedada. Tem vista sobre um lago, um pinhal e a Serra da Estrela, numa envolvente natural de grande beleza. Tem as comodidades adequadas para uns dias sossegados, com aquecimento de ar-condicionado e electrico, um frigorífico, um micro-ondas, um pequeno fogão de indução, uma cafeteira elétrica, um liquidificador, um grelhador a gaz e outro a carvão no exterior e máquina de café (cápsulas Delta).

Este cantinho especial e acolhedor foi edificado inicialmente a 1930, pela avó Rosa e pelo avô Francisco. Atualmente reformulado e atualizado, procurámos manter os valores e as pedras estruturais que tanto suportaram esta casa e as gerações que aqui viveram ao longo dos anos. Ter este tesouro geracional não faz sentido para nós sem a possibilidade de partilha. Sejam muito bem-vindos ao cantinho da nossa avó Rosa!

Apenas foi incorporada a inevitável modernidade mas nunca entrando em conflito com a sua arquitectura tradicional.
