Outside you will find an oversized deck (propane bbq), large yard, 4 ft firepit and an oceanside hammock. The perfect place to read a book or watch the million dollar sunset. With many endless beaches to choose from on the Northumberland strait from 2 min walk or 2 min drive to Waterside Provincial Beach.

Spend the day exploring Nova Scotia then head to your private retreat and relax in your beautiful hot tub. Top the evening off with around a bonfire where the only sounds you'll hear is the water splashing up on the rocks and the crackling of the fire. The giant deck features a dining area and a Napoleon BBQ.

Relax and enjoy in our tranquil duplex cottage with a full kitchen, private bathroom, queen size bed and pull out sofa bed. Spend the day picking sea glass from one of our beautiful beaches just a few minutes drive away. Go for a stroll, cycle or snowmobile on confederation trail which can be accessible less than a minute away. There are many historical lighthouses and museums, wineries, boat tours, deep sea fishing, clam digging, golf courses, restaurants and shopping all within a 30 minutes.

Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool. Very quiet and private. Couples only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. When booking, please tell me a bit about yourself and the purpose of your trip. Thank you! 3% resort fee is the NS occupancy tax.

The “Kenzie B” cottage is a newly built cottage with unique features throughout like a sliding steel barn door, a steel shower and old barn beams along the ceiling. The covered veranda off the front of the cottage provides you with stunning views of the tidal river and a private hot tub overlooks the river as well. Swim, boat, float, whatever you wish, the river awaits! We also have a motorized floating picnic table for rent if you'd like to explore the river some more.
