A tranquil spot. Located beside 3.5-acre Lake Tranquility (private) with a deck overlooking a horse pasture, and swans ... a great place for a peaceful getaway. Upstairs from the family room is a loft with twin beds and small office. Electric heating and air-conditioning make it very cozy. A queen-sized bedroom on the first-floor, the kitchen, the bathroom with shower, and a personal laundry room make it nice for a multi-night stay. The living area is directly above horse stalls in the basement.

Welcome! We are delighted to share with you our favorite room in an 1895 Georgian Colonial home. This comfortable sunporch suite is ideal for two guests or a family with a young child. Located in a safe, quiet, and wonderful section of Pittsburgh, we are close to the zoo and Children's Hospital, and a short drive from downtown. This suite has its own separate entrance, bathroom, and kitchenette. The wall-to-wall windows look over the front yard, courtyard, and our neighbor's Victorian home.

The property backs onto a greenbelt - down a sharp embankment you can see the Connoquenessing Creek - which you can enjoy from the covered patio or the breakfast table in front of the large window. Owners, Michael and Christina decided the Schoolhouse deserved a revamp. And revamp they did! They remodeled top to bottom while also redesigning to give their guests a funky experience!
