Mountain Transit offers daily routes to explore the area.
Traveling up or down Highway 18, beware of rocks on the highway. Roads are windy, drive careful, be cautious of wildlife crossing and steep turns especially during rain, fog or snow. 4WD or AWD vehicles preferred for inclement weather or bring chains in case of snow.

AllTrails provides tons of local hiking trails and off-road trails to check out. Most popular trail known as Heart Rock is located in Crestline. The Lake Gregory lake trail is a great walking or running trail with spectacular views of the lake.

Snow On the Mountain
In the event of expected snow, please be prepared with snow chains and/or AWD/4WD vehicle. Chain control may have check point. Ensure your vehicle has fuel in the event there is traffic.

Local market Goodwins & Sons offers grocery delivery service. Let us know if you would like your groceries delivered & stocked prior to your arrival. Also, Wildflowers at the Lake can deliver exquisite flower arrangements prior to your arrival or during your stay for an even special or romantic surprise.

Small town evening & weekday closures
Most shops close early by 5 or 6pm and are typically closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Lake Drive is usually quiet and business slows by the evening time. Restaurants, bars and the grocery store are open until 10 or 11pm.
