Vibrant local community. Mexican War Streets have very nice historic homes. There are many small restaurants like Fig and Ash as well as Nicky's Thai Kitchen on Western Ave. Allegheny Commons Park is also a very nice place to walk.

Nice path along the Allegheny River for scenic views of Pittsburgh. Three Rivers Heritage Trail is along the river and passes PNC Park. Allegheny Landing is a nice spot for photos with the city skyline.
