I had the most amazing meal here: mac 'n cheese to start off, then lamb and Brussel sprouts. The service was great, they decorations inside were very creative and unique. I would love to go back.

The Bishop Arts District is an area of town that caters to small businesses and local artists. There are a myriad of great places to eat, and a stroll in the surrounding neighborhood reveals beautiful mid 20th century homes.

Some of the best tacos I've had in Dallas. You have to pay in cash and there is no place to sit. But this place is authentic!

This is a surprisingly good taco place. Located in a gas station near a major highway, with a small ranch next door. You would never guess they are famous for their tacos.

I love this place for their café con leche, empanadas, and açaí. After I moved to Dallas from Miami, this was the closest thing I could to being back home. I still try to get here once a month to have a café and vegetarian empanada for lunch.

Many people come to Dallas for BBQ. After careful screening of a myriad of BBQ places in the city, Pecan Lodge comes out hands down the best in the city. Be sure to get there early and be willing to wait. But rest assured that you will not regret it!

There is so much history in Deep Ellum. For the past 100 years, the neighborhood has been changing with the times. It is a former largely African American neighborhood, then industrial area. Today it is were you can get great live music and see off the beaten path artistry.

I love going on walks in this park with my dogs and friends. There is a lot of green space, and sunsets on the lake are beautiful. You can rent canoes and paddle boards if you want to explore scenes from the water.

North Park was built by the Nasher family, the same family who founded the Nasher Sculpture Center on Flora Street in the Arts District. The mall is architecturally beautiful inside, and there are sculptures from the Nasher collection throughout. You'll also find just about every time of store there I don't go to the mall often, but when I do, this is where I go.
