Village Market Grocery is the perfect spot to pick up something quick. Though it is a small shop, they have a variety of household goods, food, beer, wine and other drinks. I would not recommend doing your grocery shopping here, but if you need something in a pinch they have a great variety of products. We frequently stop here for snacks when walking our dogs!

Manna is on the pricier side for Downtown Wilmington dining, but Manna it's good! The menu changes frequently and is always unique. Everyone that goes to Manna can't wait to go again! If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, the chef will whip you up something special off menu, just ask!

Tarantelli's serves great Italian food in Downtown Wilmington! Most of the pasta is made fresh daily and they have a great variety of dishes. Highly recommend getting any daily specials involving risotto or scallops!

China Wok on Oleander Drive is located in a mini mall and I don't believe they have dine in seating. They are also not within walking distance. However, they deliver to the house for $1 on the Beyond Menu app! We believe this is the best stereotypical Chinese food Wilmington has to offer. Try their rangoons and veggie lo mein!

Olivero is only a block from the house. It opened at the tail end of 2023 and has quickly become our favorite restaurant in Wilmington! Make a reservation during your stay, if you can. You won’t regret it!

Bars and Breweries
Downtown Wilmington has many bars and breweries that range from chill dive bars to dance party night clubs. Most of the places in Wilmington are small and transparent - what you see is what you get! These are a few of our favorite watering holes.
Waterline Brewery is just a few blocks away from the house and has a great selection of beer! There is typically a food truck in the parking lot around dinner time and they often have live music. Check their social media pages for upcoming food trucks and events.

End of Days has a great craft cocktail menu! They distill vodka, gin, rum and whiskey and try to source as much as they can locally. We always drive here, as it is a hike from the house.

Right on the Riverwalk, this bar serves up amazing cocktails and gourmet French fries! This is a really fun place to grab a drink and snack. We highly recommend the Lemongrass Mojito and the white truffle ketchup.
