This an iconic piece of Mancunian history. Originally a 16th century Inn, the building was destroyed in 1996 in the IRA bombings. Brick by brick, the bar was moved and put back together into the bustling pub you'll find today. £2 pints as well!

Gorgeous little restaurant with an amazing menu. My girlfriend and I had our first date here! I order something different every time and I'm never disappointed. Very good for vegans and vegetarians too.

This is a real hidden gem, possibly the best sushi restaurant in the country. It's a tiny place that only seats around 15 people. It's a bit pricier than my other favourites, but worth every penny for a special treat!

Just got voted one of the best Pizza restaurants in the world! I love pizza and I've never had anything like this. The dough is only cooked for 60 seconds - I was skeptical but they really know what they're doing!

This is an incredible building recently converted into an indoor market with some really high quality restaurants. I always go round and get lots of smaller meals from a few different places because I can never decide!

Just behind the flat is a bar that has baseball batting cages, where you hit the balls at a target and score points. It's such a fun and unusual way to spend an hour. On Thursdays they have a free competition where everyone tries to score the most points from ten balls. Lots of fun!!

Manchester is such an iconic footballing city, it's wonderful to get a chance to see one of the teams play. I'm a huge United fan so I'd definitely recommend checking out the legendary Theatre of Dreams. You can get the tram to the stadium from Victoria station next the flat.
