The Lazy Frog Cottage-Close to the Scenic Railway

Queenstown is full of history and things to see. Waterfalls, lookouts, historic buildings and breathtaking scenery. Our property which is a lot larger than you think and is only a few steps to the iconic Wilderness Railway and cafe. We provide food essentials, washing machine and dryer and internet. Secure off street parking and seperate games room. If you thinking of coming to visit the West Coast my advice is to stay 2 or 3 nights in Queenstown which is the centre of the areas 5 towns.

The Launch Pad

This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit. Only a 5 minute walk down to the Strahan village and boat cruise terminals. 2 minute walk to the supermarket Wifi is connected. There is a tv on the deck, lounge room and all 3 bedrooms. Atleast 6 cars/trailers etc can be parked in the property *please note* The property looking out towards the water isn’t fenced off. If you have young kids then please make sure they don’t go passed the star pickets.

Our vintage apartments are quiet, character-filled, & made for slowing down. No shiny objects, no crowds - just sea air, old timber, & space to breathe. If you appreciate crinkly organic cotton sheets, pure linen, down filled cushions, simplicity, & the beauty of things with a story, you’ll feel right at home with us!

WHEELHOUSE APARTMENT 2

Two fully self contained apartments, one has two bedrooms, the upstairs master bedrooms have spas, separate ensuites & wardrobes. The second bedroom downstairs opposite the main bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen installed with quality stainless steel appliances & granite bench tops. Cantilevered lounge rooms with huge ceiling to floor windows overlooking Macquarie Harbour. French doors opening onto your private deck where BBQs are provided. Double carport provide off street parking.

Designed with comfort and ultimate rest and relaxation in mind, Salt Box Hideaway features soothing rich naval tones and a grand Tasmanian Blue Gum custom-made built-in bed. Sit by the cedar window and watch the rolling mist cover the hills as night falls, or rise early and embrace the tranquillity on the water's edge. We love to spoil our guests with complimentary port for you to sip under the stars. This is a rustic part of the world and an important part of Tasmania's history.

Welcome to The Galahs Nest, Your place to rest on the West. Unwind and relax in this Historic Hall that has been creatively turned into a unique and comfortable Home, complete with the outdoor bath of your dreams. The space itself provides two spacious bedrooms, with additional sleeping in the living area. A fully functioning kitchen and beautiful new bathroom. The open plan living opens out onto the deck where you will find our solid stone bath that is waiting for you!

Magnolia Cottage

Magnolia Cottage is a beautiful 1930's weatherboard cottage which has been thoughtfully renovated to please the keenest eye! Close to town, it is only a 7 minutes walk to all the main amenities. Wake up in the morning with aromas coffee from your Nespresso coffee machine and enjoy the luxury little touches and wonderful comforts while you experience the West Coast Wilderness. For our bike ride enthusiasts - we offer a lockable shed to store your bikes on the premises.

Braddon Retreat

Our newly renovated, comfortable and relaxing home ready for you to come and relax and enjoy what Queenstown has to offer. This home is perfect for families, couples and groups. With a fully equipped kitchen, walk in shower and a bath to relax in, washing machine and dryer, bbq for outside dining, cozy wood heater to warm you up on those cold days, and the most comfiest beds. The yard is fully fenced and can be locked up. Porta cot and bedding is also available.
