The strategically placed windows provide stunning views of the surrounding forest and encourage natural airflow. In my opinion there is not many places that surpass this idyllic location.

The Rhubarbary Ruins - with an outdoor sauna

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

Tree House on Pigeon River

OFF GRID tree house on the Pigeon River. No electricity, running water or heat so it's really a more of a glamping situation. There is a queen bed & also a loft with a full mattress. All lights/fans are battery powered. Hand pump faucet w/ sink in the tree house. The bathroom is an outhouse. Kick back and relax in this calm, serene space. Enjoy the views all year round; our back 'up north' room provides a peaceful nature setting for you to enjoy. A perfect location for all outdoor activities, our house is located just 0.2 miles from Indian River Marina with access to both Burt and Mullett Lakes. There is a snowmobiling/walking trail in the backyard. Go on a short walk to downtown Indian River for ice cream and shopping. It's a perfect Up North location!
