It’s an easy 11 mile drive to Waynesville, Lake Junaluska, or the Blue Ridge Parkway; 20 miles to Cataloochee Ski Lodge & just west of the amazing Biltmore House in Asheville. Canton was recently featured in “Our State” Magazine for the revived down town area. We love the small town atmosphere, location & believe you will too. We are about 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Waynesville, Canton, Maggie Valley, and Lake Junaluska are approximately 30 minutes away; a 45-minute drive will take you to Asheville.

Welcome to Blackberry Cottage! Our quaint, imperfect Farm Cottage was built in 1928 and much of it was updated in the spring of 2020. Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit the goats!!
