Ecusta Trail House-Dog Friendly-1.5 miles to town!

The Ecusta Trail House is a rustic two bed one bath house built originally as a flower barn, and has since been fully renovated into a comfy vacation home. You will have the entire upstairs to yourself, the space below you is storage space. Our place is just 1.5 miles from down town Hendersonville, 40 minutes to downtown Asheville, and just 20-30 minutes to Brevard, Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State forest. The Ecusta Greenway is just a 5 minute walk from the house. Great central location!

Surrounded by stone patio with outdoor living room and fireplace and adjacent our main house. One reserved parking spot on Rustic lane behind the cottage.

Enjoy pickle ball (use our set!) at Tuxedo Park. Walk/bike around beautiful Lake Summit. Flat Rock: 3 miles, Hendersonville: 8 miles, Travelers Rest: 22 miles, Asheville: 35 miles. Ride Rock Creek Bike Park: 7 miles. Well-mannered pets are welcomed, they will love the fenced-in yard.

The Happy Red Cabin

I'm a small cabin located in a wonderful setting with other houses on gravel roads. My owners put their hearts and souls into my creation. I have 2 BR's & BR's, great room, kitchen, W/D, 2 porches, patio and a fire pit. Located 2.5 miles from Saluda, NC - a delightful small WNC town. I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of 2026 temporarily drained for repairs* NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. Sorry, NO PETS or SMOKING.

Approx 1,000 sq ft 1920's cottage completely remodeled with the 20's feel still present with the original hardwood flooring, interior doors (no working locks) and trim. The bedrooms are smaller because of this fact but it doesn't lack in character! Circle drive around back of cottage with plenty of parking as well as private back yard. Close to everything that historic Hendersonville and Flat Rock has to offer!
